Earth science students Yarmouk visiting Jordan Phosphate Mines Company

Department of Earth Science Systems and the Environment at the Faculty of Science at the University of Yarmouk in cooperation with the Jordanian Geologists Association scientific visit to the students section to the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company. During the visit program see the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company sites (Hasa mine) in order to introduce students to the exploration mechanisms, prospecting, extraction, mining and marketing of raw phosphate Jordan, where he presented the mine director Mohamed Attaoa, and exploration manager Mohamed Obohazeem, Managing Director Eng. Hussein Jazi explanation about the company's work mechanism, and the important role played by the geologist in the exploration, extraction and processing Jordan phosphate ore, pointing out the importance of cooperation with Jordanian universities in the field of scientific research, and the preparation of human resources to contribute to the development of exploration work which will reflect positively on the national economy. The head of department Dr. Talal Al-Momani that the activity between the actor embodies the Yarmouk University and national companies to cooperate in order to prepare students and provide them with all the necessary skills to work the applied field and knowledge in preparation for their entry to the local job market and the Arab world. He thanked the Jordanian Phosphate Mines Company and the Jordanian Geologists Association for their cooperation with the actor section to prepare outstanding for the visit, and provide students with scientific and applied the valuable information.
