A delegation of students of biomedical physics visited King Hussein Cancer Center on Saturday, 9/12/2017, under the supervision of Dr. Anas Ababneh, head of the physics department and Dr. Melhem Eydeh. The delegation visited the new linear accelerators, which were recently installed in the newly opened towers of the Center and the hosting supervisors presented a detailed explanation to the students about the stages of radiation therapy for cancer in the center and the features and characteristics of modern accelerators, which were the first of its kind in the Middle East. At the end of the visit, the supervisors thanked the staff in the Center for their hospitability and both sides looked forward for further cooperation between them.
