Faculty of Science organized a scientific workshop entitled “Scientific and Applied Studies in Solving Problems Facing the Agricultural Sector and Treated Water in Jordan”, presented by Dr. Hamza Al-Rawashdeh from the National Agricultural Research Center, and organized by the Department of Statistics in cooperation with the “Statistics – Vision of the Future” team. This was part of efforts to strengthen the role of scientific research in addressing environmental and agricultural challenges.
The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of employing scientific and applied methods, particularly statistical ones, to find effective solutions to the problems facing the agricultural sector, in addition to improving the management and use of treated water in ways that contribute to achieving sustainable development.
This event reflects the faculty’s commitment to supporting purposeful activities that enhance national identity, nurture students’ sense of responsibility, instill pride and belonging to the homeland, and encourage them to innovate and actively participate in serving the community.
