Dr. Taghreed Marwan Al-Jazazi from the Department of Chemistry and Dr. Manal Jamal Abdallah from the Department of Physics participated in the “Quality Assessor” training course, which was organized by the Higher Education Institutions Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission, as part of the university’s continuous efforts to promote a culture of quality and enhance the outcomes of the educational process.
The course aimed to qualify participants and provide them with the knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate academic programs and educational institutions according to national and international accreditation standards, thereby contributing to the development of academic and administrative performance. The course also covered several key topics, including the foundations of quality assurance, self-evaluation mechanisms, report preparation, and practical applications related to evaluation processes.
The participation of faculty members in this course reflects the university’s commitment to building qualified academic staff capable of leading continuous development and improvement efforts within colleges and departments. This, in turn, is expected to positively impact the quality of academic programs and strengthen the university’s competitiveness at both the local and regional levels.
This step also supports the efforts of colleges and departments in obtaining various academic accreditations and achieving comprehensive quality standards, ultimately serving students’ interests and advancing the quality of education and scientific research.
In this context, the university administration emphasized the importance of investing in the professional development of faculty members, considering them the cornerstone of achieving institutional excellence and ensuring the sustainability of quality across various academic fields.
