The Faculty of Science, in cooperation with the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science, held a scientific lecture entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Its Modern Applications in Scientific Research”. The lecture was delivered by international expert and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science, Professor Dr. Khalid Nahar Nawasrah, at the Adnan Badran Auditorium in the Faculty of Science.

The Faculty of Science extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to Professor Dr. Khalid Nawasrah for the valuable lecture and for the knowledge enrichment and scientific expertise he provided, which contributed to enhancing the audience’s understanding of artificial intelligence applications and its growing role in advancing scientific research.

During the lecture, Professor Dr. Nawasrah addressed the importance of employing artificial intelligence techniques to support researchers, accelerate analytical processes, and improve the quality of research outputs. He reviewed the most prominent modern tools and platforms that can be utilized across various fields of scientific research. He also provided practical explanations on how to integrate these tools into the stages of writing literature reviews, formulating research hypotheses, as well as using AI tools in data collection, statistical analysis, and writing scientific papers.

The speaker emphasized the necessity of keeping pace with the rapid developments in the field of artificial intelligence and promoting a culture of responsible and conscious use of these technologies, thereby contributing to elevating the level of scientific research at the university.
