Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Qaaoud from the Department of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, participated in the Medica and Compamed 2025 Exhibition and Forum, held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from November 17–20, 2025.
The event witnessed the attendance of tens of thousands of healthcare and laboratory science professionals, decision-makers, and exhibitors.
Dr. Al-Qaaoud explored the latest global products in disease diagnostics using immunological and molecular methods, with a strong focus on cancer diagnostics—particularly early cancer detection. Discussions also addressed the role of diagnostics in aging research, cellular biomarkers, and epigenetics.
In addition, exhibitors highlighted the development of customized tests, control and calibration devices in laboratory diagnostics, reagents, antibodies, and raw materials used in diagnostic processes. Notably, the exhibition showcased advanced diagnostic devices equipped with artificial intelligence systems.
