A master’s thesis was defended in the Department of Biological Sciences at the Faculty of Science, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine at Yarmouk University. The thesis, presented by student Taher Adel Yahya Bani Issa, was entitled: "MRSA Lysate Mediated the Synthesis of Antimicrobial Silver Nanoparticles" ("Using Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) Lysate to Produce Antibacterial Silver Nanoparticles").
The examination committee consisted of:

- Walid Al-Momani (Co-Supervisor)
- Mohammad Al-Jahmani (Internal Examiner)
- Adnan Al-Musa’ada from Jordan University of Science and Technology (External Examiner)
The study aimed to biologically synthesize silver nanoparticles using MRSA lysate and to test their effectiveness in eliminating the bacteria itself. The committee praised the quality of the thesis and the significance of its results.
At the conclusion of the defense, the committee recommended the student’s success and the awarding of the Master’s degree in Biotechnology.
