Faculty of Science at Yarmouk University proudly adds a new achievement to its distinguished academic journey, as the results of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 revealed significant progress. For the first time, the faculty entered the global ranking in the field of Biological Sciences, securing a position in the (601–650) band worldwide. In addition, the faculty achieved a remarkable leap in Mathematics, advancing from the (501–550) band to the (351–400) band globally.
This accomplishment is a testament to the collective efforts and synergy of faculty members, researchers, administrators, alumni, and the university’s partners both within Jordan and internationally. It also reflects the continuous support for developing academic programs and enhancing the quality of scientific research, thereby strengthening the faculty’s and the university’s standing at both national and global levels, and reaffirming their commitment to excellence and innovation.
On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Science expressed his pride in the achievement, stating: “What the faculty has accomplished in this global ranking is the result of sustained teamwork and reflects our firm commitment to providing high-quality education and pioneering research. We promise our students and researchers further achievements that will elevate the name of Yarmouk University in academic circles worldwide.”
