Initiative of Mathematics Good Deeds

The initiative of mathematics good deeds is a voluntary day organized by the students of Department of Mathematics at Yarmouk University..

The students of Mathematics at Yarmouk University have launched the initiative of “Mathematics Good Deeds” to cheer up orphans on Saturday, 30/11/2019, in Istiqlal Park under the supervision of the organizing committee represented by the general supervisor of Dr. Shadi Shaqaqha and a number of his department colleagues including: Dr. Mostafa Hayajneh, Dr. Jenan Shtayat, Miss Eman AlSaleh and Miss Afnan Dagher, as well as the student committee represented by the students: Qutaiba Al Azzam -representative of Department of Mathematics, Hiba Al Momani and a number of classmates at the department.

The initiative included competitions and entertaining events followed by having lunch.

The initiative consisted of 60 students fro the Department of Mathematics and 40 orphans aged 5-10 years from  Dar Al Yaqeen Association for Orphan Care.

The organizing committee and Dar Al Yaqeen Association for Orphan Care would like to extend their thanks to the Head of Mathematics Department, Dr. Mohammad Al-Jamal, in addition to Miss Wijdan Al Ruhail and Miss Alaa Al Sayed, as well as all those who contributed to the success of this initiative.
