The Department of Mathematics inaugurated this afternoon Thursday 20/10/2022 a workshop for graduate students in the department organized by Dr. Jenan Shtayat and Dr. Alaa Al-Khatib, in the presence of Prof. Abdal Kareem Al-Omari, the head of the department, Prof. Rashid Abu Dawas and Dr. Jibril Habeb . The workshop aims to train Students on the basics of scientific research and writing a thesis, where Prof. Al-Omari presented the first lecture on the basics of scientific research and presented some useful websites in this regard.

The workshop continues for four weeks with a lecture every Thursday. The second lecture will be presented by Prof. Rashid Abu Dawas on Thursday 27/10/2022 on how to write a proposal for a thesis or a research project, and Prof. Idris Rawashdeh will present the third lecture on Thursday 3/11/2022 on how to write the thesis. On Thursday 10/11/2022 Dr. Basem Khamaiseh will present the last lecture on the basics of LaTeX software.
