Stanford University has included three researchers from the Faculty of Science in the list of the "Top 2%" of the most influential scientists in the world. They are Dr. Idris Al-Momani and Dr. Mahmoud Al-Qudah from the Department of Chemistry, and Dr. Mohamed Al-Rifai from the Department of Mathematics.

It is noteworthy that Yarmouk University ranked fourth among the top ten Arab universities and scientific institutions in terms of the number of citations received by its affiliated authors, according to the results of the 2023 Elsevier report, with a total of 4,778 citations in 1,131 papers, from a total of 1,042 participating universities and institutions.
