Faculty of Science at Yarmouk University organized a special celebration for its new students for the academic year 2025/2026. The event was held at the Adnan Badran Auditorium under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Moheeb Awawdeh, and was attended by administrative staff and faculty members.
The ceremony commenced with the Royal Anthem, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Student Noor Abu Safieh, the event’s emcee, delivered a welcoming speech, which was followed by a speech from student Fajr Abu Seif, who spoke about the Faculty of Science and its academic departments.
Dr. Mohammad Al-Qadri, Vice Dean of the Faculty, also delivered a speech in which he welcomed the new students. He spoke about academic advising and the University Proficiency Exam, highlighting their significance in shaping the academic future of university students.
Prof. Mulham Aeidah, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, also delivered a speech in which he emphasized the importance of adhering to the regulations and policies in effect at Yarmouk University. He clarified the rules related to attendance, examinations, and student activities.
واختُتم الحفل بكلمة الدكتور محمد الصباريني – مندوب عمادة شؤون الطلبة / قسم الإرشاد – الذي تحدّث عن دور قسم الإرشاد الجامعي، والأنشطة والنوادي الطلابية، وسبل التواصل الدائم مع عمادة شؤون الطلبة لخدمة الطلبة وتوجيههم أكاديميًا واجتماعيًا.
