Professor Amer Jaafar Al-Abdulhamid participated in the 12th International Conference on Computational and Experimental Science and Engineering (ICCESEN 2025), held in Antalya, Turkey, from October 17 to 20, 2025.
He presented a research paper entitled:
“Retarding Effect of the Mediating Sulfane (-S-) Group Chelation Efficacy of Thiolic-SSulfur Toward Mercury in 2-(2-Mercaptothizol-5-yl) acetic acid Derivative. DFT-Theoretical Study.”
This conference is considered one of the most prominent scientific forums that brings together researchers from around the world to discuss the latest developments in science and engineering. Professor Al-Abdulhamid’s participation represented a valuable contribution to the research journey of Yarmouk University and reflected its openness to the international scientific community.
